UNIFORM AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT JCS BALLET ACADEMY (INCLUDING SHOES.)
We require ALL students (except adult ballet) to adhere to JCS Ballet Academy’s uniform code.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE JCSBA UNIFORM CODE?
It is important that the student follows the rules established by the school because of numerous reasons. The art of ballet follows an etiquette which is part of the overall discipline. Also, the uniform is necessary to be able to observe the appropriate technique, form and movement of the student and to be able to apply the necessary corrections.
UNIFORM = DISCIPLINE + RESPECT
NO JEWELRY OR ACCESSORIES IN CLASS.
NO JEWELRY please! No necklaces, no chains, no rings, no watches, no bracelets. Only stud earrings are permitted (no dangling earrings) to avoid accidents with other students and to prevent damaging leotards and/or tights.
No leg warmers. Only allowed for Adult and Advanced level students.
HAIR
MUST be up in a bun, NO bangs or loose hairs allowed. NO PONY TAILS permitted.
LEOTARD
JCS Ballet Academy Logo Color according to level/ short sleeve
TIGHTS
Pink color tights.
SKIRT & BOW
Color according to class level.
